Our Founder

Murray N. Caplan, Esq. was born in Albany, New York in 1954. Murray received his Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, from SUNY at Buffalo in 1976. Murray served as Senior Editor of the Buffalo Law Review from 1978 to 1979 and received his Juris Doctorate with Honors from Buffalo Law School in 1979.

In 1982, Murray established the Law Firm of Caplan & Caplan, PC with his wife and brilliant law partner Gail R. Caplan (deceased). Murray has devoted his life to protecting the rights of his clients and making sure that each and every client of Caplan & Caplan receives excellent legal services while being treated with kindness and respect.

Murray is admitted to the New York State and Federal Courts and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
